The house
Les Amoureuses is named for one of the most coveted terroirs in Burgundy. It also means The Lovers — a fitting name for a brand that balances romanticism with brutal practicality.

Every towel carries an original illustration of one seaside place, drawn in the flat-colour language of mid-century travel posters — heavy contour, five flat colours, no gradients anywhere.
Each is researched before it is drawn. The real colour of that water. The buildings that survive reduction to a silhouette. The lettering traditions of that coast.
Mykonos gets its windmill and warm lime whitewash, and no blue dome — a blue dome would make it Santorini. San Sebastián gets an Atlantic sky, not a Mediterranean one, because it faces north into the Bay of Biscay. Bondi gets a bleached yellow sky, because Australian noon light inverts the usual rule.
Nothing is generic. That is the whole point.
The object
A sheared velour face so the print stays sharp, an absorbent cotton terry reverse so it actually dries you. Oversized enough to lie on fully, light enough to travel, and good enough to hang.
Every towel is made for you at the moment you order it — printed one at a time, never stacked in a warehouse. And it is unbranded: no logo, no label, just the place.
